Hello everyone.
We are getting down to the wire. I have been in touch with most of you via email in regards to the needs for the community kitchen. Here is a final list of ingredients needed for the kitchen:
pantry needs:
coffee
paper plates and utensils or you can use your own camp dishes
napkins
bottled water
For Friday: estimated attendees - 13
Hamburgers - minimum 24 patties
A picnic salad like potato salad, coleslaw or something like that
ground hamburger - 3 to 5 pounds
Parmesan Cheese
Garlic bread
For Saturday: estimated attendees - 16
shredded cheese for breakfast
bacon
sausage
ham and turkey lunchmeat for lunch
wheat bread
sour dough bread
We do have American cheese, if you would like to contribute another variety, please do.
Saturday's dinner is a camp potluck. Please plan to bring a dish to pass.
That is all the kitchen needs for the planned menu. The community kitchen is a new idea for us this year. While a menu has been planned, we do encourage everyone to get creative and surprise us with something not listed for the menu or maybe you would like to share a favorite jam, jelly or family camp delicacy. Please add whatever you would like to enhance the kitchen and bring variety to the menu.
