This shouldn't surprise me, but it does.  I can only think that the home builders and utilities would benefit from this new regulation, but...

The government is about to make it harder to be self-reliant for many people.  There are a lot of people (and preppers) purchasing/building mini-homes.  Some are really exciting (see links below) and innovative.  But, the government is about to make it harder to use these as a primary residence.

So those that want to live off-grid embracing self-reliance are about to learn it can be more difficult.

Thank God the government is always trying to find new ways to help us!
