Here are the pictures from 230gr that accompany his post in the Banking Snow Thread about Ice Box alternatives.

I do not know why I cannot attach things anywhere but here in the General section.

Just my opinion.

The one time we had a bottom freezer in our refrigerator when growing up, my Dad had us line the basket with plastic so the bottom freezer didn't "Leak" the cold air out the sides/bottom each time we opened the freezer.

with those Ice Boxes - putting the food in boxes would help keep the cold air around the food when the door is opened.

Most folks are happy being a part of the Great Shepherds Flock.
Some folks choose to be wolves and prey on the flock.
Some folks choose to defend the flock and confront the wolf.

While we would try to minimize opening the ice box refrigerator, the cold air boxes are a good idea. In a long term SHTF event where food control or rationing, food stores, including the ice box might have to be secured for authorize use only. For many people, anxiety causes the munchies and this could wreck your food rationing plans.
